Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Junior Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Skip Bip!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves misses with a takedown attempt - Bip sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alves tries for a takedown but Bip sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Alves or perhaps it was just good defense by Bip which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bip swinging wilding here.
Alves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bip pinned against the cage. Bip gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bip throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alves shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bip is trying to defend but Alves finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Alves tries to pass to full mount but Bip defends it.
Alves seems to be working for a kimura but Bip defends the submission attempt.
Bip holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bip is trying to control but can't.
Alves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Alves has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bip defend it? Alves steps over the head and cranks it - Bip is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Alves!
