Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damurah Nasab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane McGreevy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damurah Nasab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane McGreevy! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGreevy dives in and grabs Nasab's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nasab pushes down on McGreevy's head and hops out. Nasab scores with a kick to the midsection. McGreevy keeps the fight on the outside. McGreevy misses with a kick to the body and Nasab counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Nasab manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McGreevy postures up in Nasab's guard and throws a big left but Nasab blocks it. Nasab wants to stand up but McGreevy is controlling him. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nasab is on top in guard.
Nasab stands up and waves to McGreevy to follow him. McGreevy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGreevy is working for a kimura but Nasab is defending it quite comfortably.
McGreevy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. McGreevy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. McGreevy trying to pass the guard but Nasab defending well. McGreevy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McGreevy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McGreevy looks gassed! Nasab is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGreevy controlling the pace. McGreevy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nasab moves out of range of the body kick from McGreevy.
Nasab has McGreevy up against the cage in a clinch.
Nasab jumps guard and drags McGreevy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. McGreevy forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGreevy prevents Nasab from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nasab wants to get back to his feet.
McGreevy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nasab defending well though. McGreevy wants to work for an arm triangle but Nasab is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McGreevy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nasab has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McGreevy is working away from the top position though. McGreevy is trying to control the action in half guard but Nasab is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Nasab is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nasab won't allow McGreevy to pass to mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nasab pushes McGreevy up against the cage in a clinch. Nasab lands a nice knee to the body. Nasab breaks from the clinch.
Nasab lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nasab lands with an uppercut that bounces McGreevy off the cage and back into rage. Nasab lands a head kick. McGreevy smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nasab stalks McGreevy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McGreevy's face. McGreevy staggers backwards, shaken. McGreevy tries to clinch up but Nasab circles away and keeps his distance. Nasab throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nasab shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGreevy as he avoids it easily. McGreevy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nasab napping and manages to drive through into side control! An elbow from McGreevy crashes against the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damurah Nasab dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McGreevy looks for a takedown but Nasab sprawls well. Nasab moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Nasab lands a head kick. McGreevy smiles back at him and beckons him forward. McGreevy avoids the head kick by Nasab.
Damurah Nasab is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nasab stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nasab wants it to stay on the feet. Nasab wants to clinch. Nasab throws a head kick that misses. Nasab closes the distance and clinches. Nasab breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nasab tries to clinch but McGreevy is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nasab gets caught flat footed, as McGreevy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nasab has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes McGreevy off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Nasab with a poor takedown and McGreevy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nasab! Nasab is bucking up trying to escape but McGreevy cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Nasab is trying to stand up. McGreevy working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Nasab turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McGreevy off and cradles Nasab's limp body as McGreevy celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Shane McGreevy!
