Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barker tries to clinch up but Walsh circles away and keeps his distance. Barker throws a right hand that Walsh ducks under and follows up with a left that Walsh also avoids with ease. Walsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Barker sprawls well. He's pushed Walsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Walsh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barker tries to clinch but Walsh is having none of it. Barker misses with a series of wild punches.
Walsh is looking to clinch. Walsh closes the distance looking to clinch so Barker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Barker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Barker stops Walsh from standing up. Walsh had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Barker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Walsh Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Barker's back instead. Walsh looking to break Barker's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Barker remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Walsh will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Barker hold on?
You can see the frustration on Barker's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Walsh connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Barker to escape the position.
Walsh has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Barker. Barker covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Barker covers up after that shot from Walsh.
Walsh keeps control of the position as Barker tries to break free.
Barker trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Walsh doesn't have the hooks in and Barker manages to turn into his guard.
Walsh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Barker works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Barker is trying to control the action in half guard but Walsh is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Barker is breathing heavily. Walsh is trying to stand back up but Barker is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Walsh is trying to maintain the position but Barker is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Barker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walsh. John Walsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barker lands a nice shot to the body.
Walsh tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Barker is able to avoid easily. Barker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Walsh is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh trying to control from the bottom.
Walsh is staying active underneath Barker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Barker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Walsh is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Barker stops Walsh from getting back to his feet.
Walsh has one foot on Barker's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Barker avoids the head kick by Walsh.
Barker tries to clinch but Walsh is having none of it. Walsh tries to clinch there but Barker circles away.
Barker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Barker shoots in for a takedown but Walsh shows good takedown defense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Travis Barker will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Barker. Walsh is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Barker asserts his dominance and retains side control. Walsh manages to get back to half guard. Walsh is trying to maintain the position but Barker is very close to passing his half guard. Barker stalling away here and it's allowed Walsh to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh wants to stand and escape but Barker is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walsh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barker is one step ahead there. Walsh wants to stand up but Barker is controlling him. Walsh pushes Barker off and gets back to his feet.
Walsh throws a nice looking combination but Barker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Barker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Travis Barker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Barker slips under a jab. Walsh misses with a double jab
and Barker counters with a single leg into guard. Walsh didn't expect that. Barker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Walsh is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Walsh keeping moving, preventing Barker from controlling successfully. Barker stops Walsh from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Barker wants to control from the top but Walsh keeps moving. Walsh keeping full guard, as Barker tries to pass. Walsh looking for a sweep. Not yet Walsh, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Walsh misses with a double jab.
Barker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Barker takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Travis Barker has been cut. Walsh throws a leg kick but Barker moved away. Walsh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Barker moves into the clinch. Walsh comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Barker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walsh gets a trip takedown into half guard. Walsh tries to stand but can't do so whilst Barker controls his leg. Walsh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Barker has one foot on Walsh's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Walsh slips a jab and a cross from Barker.
Walsh throws a combination. Barker tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Walsh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Travis Barker will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Travis Barker's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Walsh throws a right and a left that both miss. Walsh throws a sloppy head kick and Barker moves out of range easily. Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Barker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Walsh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Walsh misses with a few strikes there.
Barker rushes Walsh and presses him up against the cage. Barker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Walsh smiles and moves away.
Barker checks a leg kick nicely. Barker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Barker tries to stand and escape but Walsh is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Walsh swings away with a leg kick that misses. Walsh dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Walsh lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Walsh. Barker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Walsh throws a shot from downtown. Barker moves away and avoids it. Walsh lands a nice leg kick that just misses Barker's sensitive parts. Barker moves out of range of the strikes. Walsh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barker swats away the attempt to clinch by Walsh. Barker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Barker gets to his feet - Walsh follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Walsh misses with a looping right. Barker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Barker throws and elbow that misses. Walsh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Barker's guard. Nice move by Walsh! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barker trying to keep a closed guard but Walsh is proving a slippery customer.
John Walsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Walsh scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Walsh stands up from Barker's guard - Walsh perhaps looking for a knockout. Barker misses with a few strikes there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh misses with a head kick.
Walsh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barker moves away. Barker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Walsh throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Walsh closes the distance looking to clinch and Barker counters with a single leg into guard. Walsh didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barker slips nicely into half guard. Barker is trying to control the action in half guard but Walsh is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Barker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Barker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
