The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verson shoots in for a double leg but Camoes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Verson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Camoes's half guard.
Verson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Camoes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Camoes postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Camoes drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Verson goes for an armbar but Camoes turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Camoes.

Well Verson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
