Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Heat dives in and grabs Vandam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vandam pushes down on The Heat's head and hops out.

Vandam clinches with his opponent.
The Heat blocks the elbow strike.
Vandam lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The Heat changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vandam fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The Heat fails with the takedown.
Tyler Vandam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle The Heat.
The Heat throws a body punch but Vandam moves out of range.
Vandam avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Heat takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

The Heat has closed the distance and engaged Vandam in a clinch.
Vandam stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
The Heat tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The Heat is pushing Vandam up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The Heat misses with an elbow strike.
Vandam lands a left hand.
The Heat looks gassed!
Vandam dips a shoulder and cracks The Heat with a mighty uppercut! The Heat falls back against the cage and Vandam unloads with a barrage of strikes! The Heat is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vandam screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
