Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie feints and as Kelly raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Kelly keeps moving.
Gracie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kelly kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Gracie stops Kelly from standing up.
Gracie stands up and waves to Kelly to follow him.
Kelly misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kelly actively working from the bottom here.
Kelly has one foot on Gracie's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kelly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kelly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kelly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kelly is breathing heavily.

and Gracie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Kelly doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gracie counters with a three punch combo that has Kelly backing up. Kelly nods at Gracie to acknowledge the strikes.
Gracie moves into range and clinches up with Kelly.
Kelly wants a takedown.
Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kelly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie throws a right hand that Kelly ducks under and follows up with a left that Kelly also avoids with ease.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kelly circles away.
Kelly throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie counters by clinching up.
Gracie prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kelly fails to pull guard.
Kelly is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gracie pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kelly wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kelly is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gracie buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gracie instigates a clinch.
Gracie breaks from the clinch.
Kelly takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gracie throws a series of punches but Kelly moves out of range.
Gracie lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kelly's sensitive parts.
Gracie is looking to slow Kelly down with leg kicks.
Kelly throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Dennis Gracie has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly misses with a double jab.
Kelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gracie moves into the clinch.

and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kelly's guard now.
Gracie gets to his feet. Kelly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kelly drops Gracie with a left and a right! Oh, Gracie is hurt - Kelly dives into side control looking to finish!
Gracie is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelly has hold of Gracie's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gracie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kelly cranks the arm and Gracie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gracie, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Michael Kelly!
