Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bounty dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying dog's choice of entrance music: I Love Preshcool. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as bounty dog enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bounty dog!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison shoots in for a takedown but dog shows good takedown defense.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Harrison.
Harrison defends well against a solid takedown attempt from dog.
Harrison gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and dog counters with a single leg into guard. Harrison didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
dog wants to pass the guard but Harrison is keeping the position.
dog advances position into side control!

dog taking a break here but Harrison is having none of it and regains half guard.

Harrison is staying active underneath dog, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

dog escapes and gets back to his feet.
dog closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harrison circles away.
dog looks gassed!

dog shoots for a takedown but Harrison saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

dog darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Harrison looking for submissions off his back.
Harrison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for dog on the ground.
Harrison tries to kick dog off but dog keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Harrison won't allow dog to pass to mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

dog escapes and gets back to his feet.
Harrison scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

dog stands up from guard. Let's bang!

dog moves into range and clinches up with Harrison.
Harrison wants a takedown but no success here.

dog ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. dog no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harrison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. dog swivels though and keeps the full guard.

dog escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harrison gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harrison defends well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
dog is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Harrison is working dog over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Harrison throwing strikes but missing.
dog is adopting a defensive guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harrison defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Harrison lands a with a good body shot.
Harrison thows a body shot but no joy.

Harrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Harrison postures up in dog's guard and throws a big left but dog blocks it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for dog. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

dog has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harrison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

dog has his foot on Harrison's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harrison works his way back into a safe position though.
Harrison postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
dog tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Harrison loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Harrison is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! dog is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! dog has escaped and now he's on top!

dog works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Harrison is trying to control but dog passes into side control!

dog tries for a kimura but Harrison is defending well.
dog wants to control but Harrison is keeping him busy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
An elbow from dog crashes against the mat.
Harrison is trying to get back to his feet.

dog is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Harrison is trying to escape and dog transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Harrison is forced to tap! Nice work there by dog! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). bounty dog!
