Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiko Silve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by The Dropkick Murphys-The Warriors Code. The key to victory for Johnny Blaze has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiko Silve!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silve is looking to clinch but Blaze is avoiding it.

Silve wants to stand and escape but Blaze is having none of it.
Blaze might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Blaze slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Silve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blaze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blaze stands up and waves to Silve to follow him.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silve looks like he's trying to stand up.

Blaze fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blaze cracks Silve with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Blaze looking to control but Silve is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Silve's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Blaze has control of Silve's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Silve regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Blaze keeps the fight on the outside.

Blaze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silve swivels and escapes.
Blaze shoots in for a double leg but Silve sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Blaze avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blaze steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silve.

Silve tries to close the distance and clinch but Blaze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Blaze scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Blaze looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silve is fending him off so far but Blaze persists. Nope, Silve circles away and we're back to standing.
Silve leaves Blaze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Blaze is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silve throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Blaze's body to avoid the submission. Blaze has instead reached around Silve's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Blaze arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
