Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masakatsu Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masakatsu Ueda had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Tim Fraser has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Fraser looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fraser swings for the body but Ueda moves out of range.
Ueda throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ueda keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ueda explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Ueda thuds his shin into the meat of Fraser's side.
Fraser just misses with a punch to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Ueda's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ueda pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ueda throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fraser fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fraser avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Fraser has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ueda.

Nice takedown defense from Ueda. No joy for Fraser on that attempt.

Masakatsu Ueda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ueda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ueda wants it to stay on the feet.
Fraser swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Fraser tries to clinch but Ueda moves out of range.
Fraser takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Fraser lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Ueda wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Masakatsu Ueda will probably get the nod.

Fraser shoots in looking for a takedown. Ueda tries to sprawl out of it but Fraser keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Ueda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Masakatsu Ueda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Fraser.
Fraser closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fraser tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fraser has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ueda wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fraser has his arm under Ueda's chin here. Game over son! Fraser squeezes tightly and Ueda is forced to tap out!
