Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captian Awsome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Awsome has chosen Hail and Kill as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Captian Awsome has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke darts in and clinches Awsome up against the cage.
Awsome wants a takedown.

Awsome closes the distance and clinches up with Locke, looking for a takedown. Awsome pushes Locke against the cage but Locke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Awsome stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Locke swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Awsome thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Locke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Awsome won't allow Locke to get back to his feet.
Locke is trying to control the position but Awsome postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Awsome shoots for a double leg takedown but Locke sprawls well. He's pushed Awsome's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Locke throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Awsome's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Awsome is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Locke is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Awsome tries to move to mount but Locke blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Locke is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Awsome is working to tighten is grip on Locke's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Locke has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Awsome is really squeezing tight and eventually Locke passes out! Awsome breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
