Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hanz Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Harm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanz Stinger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dave Harm's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stinger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Harm looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Harm with a poor takedown
and Stinger counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harm's guard now.
Stinger chips away with some ground and pound.
Stinger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stinger thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stinger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Harm keeping full guard, as Stinger tries to pass.
Harm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Stinger slips a nice elbow through Harm's hands, connecting with Harm's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stinger connects with a nice short shot to Harm's temple.

Stinger wants to pass the guard but Harm is defending well.

Stinger winds up and cracks Harm with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stinger wants to finish this one by submission but Harm is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stinger.

and Harm counters with a takedown into side control.
Harm goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stinger rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Harm's guard! Nice work there by Stinger!

Stinger is pushing down on Harm's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harm is fighting to maintain full guard but Stinger has managed to sneak the leg through.
Harm looks like he's trying to stand up.
Stinger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harm is just riding it out for now. Stinger eventually gives up the hold.
Harm is looking to control Stinger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Harm avoid being mounted?

Harm is doing well to control the position and prevent Stinger from advancing to side control.
Harm wants to control but Stinger is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Harm has one foot on Stinger's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Stinger seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Harm fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stinger.

A close second round but Dave Harm will probably get the nod - 10:9.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Harm's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
