Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JOSE DIAZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don has chosen Iconoclast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The Don will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, JOSE DIAZ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, The Don!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DIAZ swings for the body but Don moves out of range.
The Don seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Don scores with a jab. DIAZ acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Don displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Don lands a really nice looking cross but DIAZ seems unphased.
DIAZ changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Don tries to avoid it but DIAZ manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Don to the ground. Don escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
DIAZ closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
DIAZ pulls out of a head kick attempt.
DIAZ defending well as Don loads up on a big left hand.
DIAZ blocks a jab.
Don punishes DIAZ's body with a nice straight punch.
Don stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Don wants it to stay on the feet.
DIAZ shoots for a takedown but Don saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JOSE DIAZ. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Don connects with the punch.
DIAZ darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
DIAZ decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Don. That snapped DIAZ's head back.
DIAZ dodges the punch combination from Don.
DIAZ has taken the fight to the clinch.
DIAZ manages to pull guard.
DIAZ not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Don has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of DIAZ is proving hard to escape from.
DIAZ manages to escape and get back to his feet.
DIAZ closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
DIAZ will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Don up against the cage.
DIAZ breaks from the clinch.
Don stalks DIAZ and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into DIAZ's face. DIAZ staggers backwards, shaken.
Nice uppercut lands for Don. That snapped DIAZ's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Don scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
DIAZ is rocked!
Don is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! DIAZ hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). The Don!
