Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sho Kasugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sho Kasugi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ping Pong! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasugi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kasugi tries to clinch there but Pong circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Kasugi as Pong shoots in. Kasugi tries to clinch there but Pong circles away.
Horrible takedown by Pong or perhaps it was just good defense by Kasugi which made him look bad. Pong darts in and clinches Kasugi up against the cage. Pong wants to break free but Kasugi has control.
Kasugi misses with a knee to the head. Kasugi tries to land knees in the clinch but Pong avoids the damage to the body. Pong wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pong can't break the clinch.
Kasugi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kasugi scores with a head kick.
Pong is rocked!
It looks like Ping Pong has been cut. Kasugi looks to clinch and Pong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kasugi won't be happy with that. Pong tries to advance to mount but Kasugi denies him. Pong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kasugi keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasugi can't do much from the bottom here. Kasugi throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Pong moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kasugi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pong asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kasugi is looking for a sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kasugi throws a nice outside leg kick. Pong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kasugi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pong is controlling him well. Pong controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kasugi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Pong gets to mount! Kasugi was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Kasugi is squirming around, avoiding Pong's attempts to control the action. Pong is stalling here but it's allowed Kasugi to get half guard.
Pong with the ground and pound but Kasugi uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kasugi being controlled here, momentarily. Kasugi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kasugi wants to get back to his feet but Pong is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kasugi keeping moving, preventing Pong from controlling successfully. Kasugi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ping Pong dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ping Pong's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pong scores a takedown into full mount! Pong looking to control and managing it successfully. Kasugi sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Still in half guard, Pong seems content to control. Pong is looking to take a break and control but Kasugi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pong passes to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pong is breathing heavily. Kasugi can't do much from the bottom here. Pong taking a breather here. Kasugi sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kasugi wants to get back to full guard but Pong has mounted him! Kasugi is wriggling around trying to escape.
Pong wants to control the pace but Kasugi is squirming around nicely. Kasugi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pong tries to control but Kasugi wriggling away. Kasugi regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pong blocks the strikes from Kasugi.
Kasugi is pressing down on Pong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Pong wanted to stand there but Kasugi had control of the position. Kasugi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kasugi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kasugi manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Kasugi tries to clinch but Pong moves away and Pong counters with a takedown into side control. Pong decides to take the fight back to the feet. Pong throws a sloppy head kick and Kasugi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Kasugi throws a lazy head kick and Pong counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kasugi's guard now. Kasugi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kasugi working for submissions but it's allowed Pong to get to half guard.
Pong is trying to control the action in half guard but Kasugi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ping Pong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ping Pong's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Kasugi keeps the fight on the outside. Kasugi fails in his attempt to clinch. Pong tries to clinch there but Kasugi circles away.
Kasugi tries to clinch up and Pong moves into the clinch. Kasugi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kasugi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kasugi wants to clinch up but Pong keeps it at a distance. Kasugi misses with a body shot.
Kasugi tries to clinch and Pong counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pong decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pong misses with a head kick.
Kasugi darts in trying to clinch and Pong counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Pong circles away from the clinch attempt and Pong finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Ping Pong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kasugi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kasugi tries to clinch up and Pong counters with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pong tries to clinch but Kasugi is having none of it. Kasugi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pong circles away. Kasugi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kasugi throws a head kick that misses and Pong counters with a takedown into side control. Pong takes a little break here. Kasugi wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pong decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kasugi to his feet. Pong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kasugi wants to control but Pong is keeping busy.
Kasugi tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pong has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pong controlling his opponent. Kasugi wants to hold on but Pong pushes him away. Kasugi is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kasugi really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kasugi manages to regain half guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pong slows the pace down in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ping Pong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Pong winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
