Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Giggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titus Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamora is looking to clinch.
Zamora is looking to clinch but Giggs is avoiding it.
Zamora stuffs the takedown attempt from Giggs. Giggs gets slowly back to his feet.
Zamora defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Giggs.
Zamora punishes Giggs's body with a nice straight punch.

Giggs darts in and clinches Zamora up against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Giggs - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Giggs shoots for a double leg takedown but Zamora sprawls well. He's pushed Giggs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Giggs is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zamora has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Giggs is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zamora can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Giggs goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Zamora is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zamora tries to free his leg and advance position but Giggs is retaining full guard.
Giggs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Zamora must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Giggs's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Giggs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Giggs has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zamora has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Zamora is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Giggs scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Zamora won't enjoy being in this position. Giggs looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Zamora is tapping - it's over boys! Giggs picks up the submission victory!
