Malone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amazing by Kanye West. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Jan Stark has been cut.
Malone connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Malone misses with a body shot.

Stark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Malone sprawls well initially but Stark persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
