The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Odinsson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Miller looking to finish Odinsson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Odinsson! Odinsson is trying to escape the mount.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Odinsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Odinsson is working hard here to advance position. Odinsson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Odinsson is working to get back to half guard.
Odinsson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Odinsson regains half guard. Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odinsson looking for submissions off his back. Miller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Odinsson actively working from the bottom here. Odinsson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though. Miller wants to take a breather but Odinsson is having none of it. Miller lands with a punch from half guard. Miller is working for a submission of some sort.
Odinsson has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Odinsson is trying to maintain the position but Miller is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Odinsson is trying to control but can't.
Odinsson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miller's back! Odinsson working for a choke but Miller is defending well. Odinsson is breathing heavily. Miller is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller trying to get back to his feet but Odinsson is in full control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odinsson has managed to slip his arm under Miller's chin. This could be all over... yep, Miller is tapping out! Submission win for Odinsson.
