The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Howard gets the takedown into side control.
PG Master tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howard throws a strike aimed at the side of PG Master's head but PG Master avoids it well.
PG Master is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ground and pound from Howard seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Howard creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Howard's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
PG Master wants to hit a switch here but Howard passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for PG Master there!
PG Master tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Howard wants to control the pace but PG Master is squirming around nicely.
PG Master is trying to escape the mount.
The referee warns PG Master that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Christian Howard dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

PG Master cracks a nice hook into Howard's ribs.

Howard feints and as PG Master raises his hands in defense, Howard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

PG Master has his foot on Howard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Howard works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Howard looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Howard tries to pass to full mount but PG Master defends it.

Howard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks PG Master with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Howard lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
PG Master trying to hold on to Howard's head to control him but Howard postures up.
Howard is taking a breather. PG Master says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

PG Master gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Howard to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Howard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

PG Master throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Howard escapes and throws PG Master's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Howard wants to control but PG Master is keeping him busy.
The referee asks Howard politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Howard prefers to stall for the moment though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Howard throws a strike but PG Master rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

PG Master drops back looking for a leg! Howard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Howard manages to kick PG Master off! PG Master jumps back into Howard's guard.
