Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Floyd Sumerweather!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Zaretski!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaretski misses with a takedown attempt - Sumerweather sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sumerweather is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zaretski.
Zaretski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sumerweather throws a lazy right hand but Zaretski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sumerweather throws the left hand but Zaretski avoids the punch easily.
A head kick misses from Sumerweather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zaretski just misses with a punch to the body.
Sumerweather dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zaretski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sumerweather doesn't seem bothered though.

Sumerweather avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Zaretski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Zaretski ducks under a wild hook from Sumerweather.

Zaretski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sumerweather did well to prevent Zaretski getting side control.

Sumerweather is trying to stand back up but Zaretski is controlling him
