The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rogers scoring well with a low kick there.
Rogers clobbers Temple with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Zayrion Temple has been cut.
Zayrion Temple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers throws a head kick that half lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rogers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rogers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Temple. That did some damage!
Temple looks gassed!
Temple avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rogers keeps Temple at a distance using the push kick.
Rogers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rogers throws a series of punches but Temple moves out of range.
Rogers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rogers throws a right and a left that Temple avoids nicely.
Temple dodges the punch combination from Rogers.
Rogers connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Temple's hands.
Whack! Rogers lands a heavy head kick that drops Temple. The ref tackles Rogers to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Temple was done.
