The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardonk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zend pinned against the cage. Zend gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hardonk tries to clinch up but Zend circles away and keeps his distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zend rushes Hardonk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hardonk takes an elbow to the forehead.
Zend breaks the clinch.
Nice shot lands for Zend.
The cut above Antoni Hardonk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Zend lands with a nice body kick.
Zend's corner calls for a 1-2. Zend obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Zend takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Zend tries to clinch up but Hardonk circles away and keeps his distance.

Antoni Hardonk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Antoni Hardonk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
