Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Starwin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Starwin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Starwin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones wants to improve his position but instead Starwin has moved into half guard.
Starwin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jones misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Starwin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Starwin eventually gives up the hold.

Jones tries to kick Starwin off but Starwin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Starwin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.

It looks like Marwin Starwin has been cut.

Jones cracks the inside of Starwin's front leg.
Jones thuds his shin into the meat of Starwin's side.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Starwin dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Starwin fails with the takedown.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Starwin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Starwin shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Starwin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marwin Starwin.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Starwin moves out of range easily.

Jones throws a right and a left that Starwin avoids nicely.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Starwin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is looking to reverse the position.
Jones wants to control but Starwin postures up.
Starwin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones misses with a strike from the bottom.
Jones sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Starwin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jones!
Jones is trying to stand.
Starwin throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Jones has his hands clasped together but Starwin breaks the hold and Jones is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Starwin!
