Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Estafire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kayaki Chonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estafire comes to the cage accompanied by Bomb Hands- Social Code. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chonin's choice of entrance music: Fedor Entrance Song. Kayaki Chonin struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Rocky Estafire has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rocky Estafire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Kayaki Chonin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estafire throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Estafire misses with the combination.
Estafire scores with a three punch combo!
Estafire drives through and clinches with Chonin against the cage.
Chonin is pressed up against the cage. Estafire has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chonin down to the mat. Chonin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Chonin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Estafire was well out of range. Poor timing from Chonin.
Chonin moves forwards but Estafire connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Estafire ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice uppercut lands for Chonin. That snapped Estafire's head back.

Chonin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Estafire manages to get himself to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Estafire throws a right hand that Chonin ducks under and follows up with a left that Chonin also avoids with ease.

That's time! Estafire's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Chonin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Estafire napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Estafire tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Chonin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Estafire sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Estafire tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chonin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Estafire gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chonin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Estafire's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
No joy there for Estafire, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rocky Estafire will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Estafire tries to close the distance and clinch but Chonin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Estafire moves out of range of the strikes.

Rocky Estafire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Estafire throws a right and a left that both miss.
Estafire throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chonin with a poor takedown
and Estafire counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chonin won't be happy with that.
Chonin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Chonin is trying to work for a sweep but Estafire has mounted him!
Rocky Estafire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Estafire cracks Chonin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Chonin is squirming around, avoiding Estafire's attempts to control the action.

Well Estafire has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
