Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Cunnigham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunnigham's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jeremy. Gregory House will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeremy Cunnigham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gregory House! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! House slaps away a takedown attempt from Cunnigham, before circling back to the center of the mat. House fails to land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cunnigham. Cunnigham gets the takedown into side control. Cunnigham throws an elbow but House slips to the side and avoids it well. House is trying to control Cunnigham's posture but Cunnigham avoids it. Cunnigham working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cunnigham thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on House's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. House sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. House has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cunnigham is working away from the top position though. House actively working from the bottom here. House actively working from the bottom here. Cunnigham is working for a submission of some sort.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cunnigham keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

House shoots in for a takedown and gets it. House is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cunnigham doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time House. House looks gassed!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cunnigham looking for submissions off his back. House is looking to advance position but Cunnigham won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cunnigham flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Cunnigham is looking for a triangle but House pushes his legs off easily.
House thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cunnigham looking for a guillotine here but House defends easily.
House throwing strikes from guard but Cunnigham blocks nicely. House got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cunnigham has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, House has managed to get both his arms back between Cunnigham's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cunnigham keeping moving, preventing House from controlling successfully. Cunnigham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. House doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. House manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. House is looking to work some ground and pound but Cunnigham has wrist control. Cunnigham is trying to control the position but House postures up. House drops back looking for a leg! Cunnigham is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cunnigham manages to kick House off! House jumps back into Cunnigham's guard. Cunnigham throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. House trying to control the position from guard on top but Cunnigham is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cunnigham looking for subs off his back but House has passed one foot through into half guard.

House swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cunnigham has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. House looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cunnigham accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cunnigham passes into half guard. Cunnigham is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

and Cunnigham counters with a takedown into side control. House tries to bench press Cunnigham off him but Cunnigham keeps the position. Cunnigham tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cunnigham thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cunnigham jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… House is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by House and Cunnigham has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's two minutes gone in the round. House wants to get back to full guard. Cunnigham is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, House has managed to free his arm - good work. House is looking to control Cunnigham's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can House avoid being mounted? Cunnigham is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
House slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cunnigham trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. House keeping moving, preventing Cunnigham from controlling successfully. House is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. House passes the guard and advances to mount! Cunnigham is trying desperately to improve position. House trying to control but Cunnigham is having none of it. Cunnigham is trying to get back to his feet but can't. House thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Cunnigham sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. House is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cunnigham is just riding it out for now. House eventually gives up the hold. Cunnigham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of House's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take House's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. House preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Cunnigham. Cunnigham has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, House has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Gregory House has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cunnigham working for a choke but House is defending well. House rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jeremy Cunnigham is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. House tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeremy Cunnigham showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cunnigham, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
