Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stuey Griffen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afonso Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffen's entrance music is This Is War. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferreira tries to avoid it but Griffen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferreira to the ground. Ferreira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Griffen misses with a double jab.
Griffen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ferreira.
Griffen missing with a left hand there. Ferreira was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ferreira tries for a takedown but Griffen circles away easily
and Griffen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ferreira thinking.

Ferreira uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Griffen.
Griffen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Griffen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ferreira circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stuey Griffen.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Griffen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
