PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marion Cobretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobretti comes to the cage accompanied by Frank Sinatra - Fly me to the moon. On his way into the cage it seems that Marion Cobretti has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marion Cobretti seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobretti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cobretti throws a looping overhand right but Morgan ducks down to avoid it.
Cobretti throws a hook but Morgan avoids it easily.
Cobretti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cobretti lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Morgan sprawling to the canvas. Cobretti follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Morgan hang on?

It looks like Derek Morgan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cobretti is looking to take a break and control but Morgan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cobretti is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cobretti swings for the body but Morgan moves out of range.
Derek Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cobretti just misses with a punch to the body.
Cobretti throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morgan sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Cobretti fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Danga de danga de dang - Cobretti scores with a four punch combination!
Morgan is still on wobbly legs! Can Cobretti finish him?
Cobretti drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Morgan right on the button. Morgan goes down! Cobretti follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Cobretti gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marion Cobretti!
