Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Gleason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaughn House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gleason comes to the cage accompanied by .. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Gleason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vaughn House!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

House darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
House controlling the action here.
Gleason wants to get back to his feet.
Gleason knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for House on the ground.
Gleason avoiding damage under a succession of punches from House.

House is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gleason looks like he's trying to stand up.

Gleason is looking for a sweep. House is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
House looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gleason with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

House is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gleason is just riding it out for now. House eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
House seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gleason does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

House seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Gleason is looking for a sweep. House is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

House is trying to control. Gleason wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

House is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
House working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
House wants to stand up but Gleason is controlling the position.
Gleason is looking for a sweep. House is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
House prevents Gleason from standing back up.
Gleason is breathing heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gleason trying to hold on to House's head to control him but House postures up.
Gleason is trying to defend against the ground and pound but House scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
House is looking to take a break and control but Gleason is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

House is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
House passes to full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


House changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gleason tries to avoid it but House manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gleason to the ground. Gleason escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gleason moves in looking to clinch but House pushes him off.
House closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gleason circles away.
Gleason throws a nice looking combination but House bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gleason misses with a few strikes there.
Gleason rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but House moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
House is looking to clinch but Gleason is avoiding it.
Gleason is looking to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice sprawl there from Gleason as House shoots in.
Frank Gleason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaughn House.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gleason keeps the fight on the outside.
Gleason displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from House.
Gleason throws a nice looking combination but House bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

House swats away the attempt to clinch by Gleason.

House feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gleason utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

House stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gleason to get to his feet.

House shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

House tries to clinch there but Gleason circles away.

Gleason looking to hit a scissor sweep but House is one step ahead there.

House throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
House pushes down on Gleason's leg and manages to get into half guard.
House wants to control but Gleason is keeping him busy.
House frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gleason is working to get back to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, House cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
House wants to control the pace but Gleason is squirming around nicely.
House lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

House has isolated one of Gleason's arms. Gleason looking to fight him off but House twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Vaughn House!
