The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanvalkenburg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cohen was well out of range. Poor timing from Vanvalkenburg.
Vanvalkenburg takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cohen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cohen lands a left and a right that send Vanvalkenburg crashing to the mat, dazed. Cohen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Lance Vanvalkenburg has been cut.
