Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Re Christensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Re Christensen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Christensen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Sobral keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sobral misses with a takedown attempt - Christensen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sobral displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Christensen throws out the jab.
Christensen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Christensen lands a left and a right that send Sobral crashing to the mat, dazed. Christensen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sobral is rocked!
It looks like Renato Sobral has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sobral drops his hands momentarily. Christensen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Sobral staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Sobral doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Re Christensen!
