Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between punch master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and normal guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
guy shoots in and drives through. master sprawls well.
master rushes guy and presses him up against the ropes.
A nice left hand lands by master.
master has guy pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. guy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
master fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
guy is in trouble now - master has advanced to mount!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

master is looking to take a break and control but guy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
master wants to stand but guy has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

guy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst master is controlling him.
master wants to control from the top but guy keeps moving.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to punch master.
I think guy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
