Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manny Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks looks to land a body kick but Mauvernay moved away.
Brooks looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Brooks throws a right hand that Mauvernay ducks under and follows up with a left that Mauvernay also avoids with ease.

Brooks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Brooks on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mauvernay. Mauvernay obviously looking to wear him down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brooks crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mauvernay - the referee stops the clock and Brooks gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mauvernay. Brooks manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mauvernay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brooks but Brooks pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mauvernay scores with a jab. Brooks acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Brooks takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mauvernay scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mauvernay stands up and beckons Brooks to join him on the feet.

Mauvernay shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brooks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mauvernay is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Brooks will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Mauvernay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brooks for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mauvernay in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Brooks is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
