PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hagendoorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Fetisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hagendoorn comes into the arena with Can't Be Touched blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fetisov misses with the combination.
Hagendoorn closes the distance and clinches up with Fetisov, looking for a takedown. Hagendoorn pushes Fetisov against the cage but Fetisov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fetisov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hagendoorn, pushing him back against the cage.
Hagendoorn drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hagendoorn can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Hagendoorn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hagendoorn lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hagendoorn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fetisov pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fetisov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Fetisov throws a left that rocks Hagendoorn and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Fetisov dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hagendoorn regain composure!

It looks like Richard Hagendoorn has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hagendoorn tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Oh Hagendoorn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hagendoorn seems to have got his legs back now.
Hagendoorn is breathing heavily.

Fetisov decides to stand back up.

Fetisov bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Hagendoorn! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Fetisov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hagendoorn's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fetisov decides to return to a standing position.

Fetisov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fetisov throws a shot to the body.
Hagendoorn tries for a takedown but Fetisov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hagendoorn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fetisov defends it easily.
Fetisov wants to stand but Hagendoorn is controlling his posture from full guard.

Fetisov stands and throws Hagendoorn's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fetisov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hagendoorn to his feet.

Fetisov rushes Hagendoorn and presses him up against the cage.
Hagendoorn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fetisov's efforts to push away.
Hagendoorn tries to score a body lock takedown but Fetisov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Still in the clinch, Fetisov scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fetisov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fetisov is trying to break free.
Fetisov is looking to break free of the clinch but Hagendoorn has double underhooks.

Fetisov has closed the distance and engaged Hagendoorn in a clinch.

Fetisov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Fetisov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fetisov connects with a looping right hand.
Fetisov throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Hagendoorn crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
