Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royler Crazy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Royler Crazy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Crazy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crazy tries to clinch up. Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. Gracie sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gracie is working for a kimura but Crazy is defending it quite comfortably.

Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Crazy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though. Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Crazy is looking to improve his position.
Crazy is controlling Gracie's trapped leg to prevent Gracie from advancing to side control. Crazy is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Crazy throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crazy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Crazy shoots and misses so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Crazy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Crazy is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crazy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie slips nicely into half guard. Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Crazy defends the submission attempt. Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Crazy is defending well. Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Crazy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gracie is taking a breather. Crazy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Gracie trying to control the action but Crazy is working from the bottom. Crazy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Crazy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Crazy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronaldo Gracie dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Crazy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Crazy is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well. Gracie wants to control but Crazy is keeping him busy. Crazy is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard. Crazy won't allow Gracie to pass to mount. Gracie content to control rather than advance. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Crazy is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crazy wants to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Crazy misses with a takedown and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crazy's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crazy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gracie controls the pace. Crazy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie connects with a couple of short punches. Crazy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard. Crazy wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Crazy scoring with some ground and pound. Crazy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gracie's guard. Crazy trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gracie holds on and takes a little breather. Ronaldo Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Crazy trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Crazy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Crazy wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Crazy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the cage. Crazy pulls Gracie into guard.
Crazy wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position. Crazy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gracie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Crazy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gracie's back instead. Crazy patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronaldo Gracie dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Crazy which made him look bad. Crazy fails with the takedown and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gracie passes into half guard. Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Crazy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crazy gets back to full guard.
Gracie stands and steps away. Crazy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Crazy is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard. Crazy trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Crazy defends it. Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gracie wants to take a breather but Crazy is having none of it. Crazy wants to get back to full guard. Crazy has a hand on Gracie's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Gracie takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Gracie tries to control but Crazy wriggling away. Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Crazy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie trying to control but Crazy is having none of it. Gracie looking to finish Crazy with some ground and pound. This is bad for Crazy! Crazy gets back to half guard. Crazy is trying to control but can't.
Crazy is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well. Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Crazy trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Crazy is looking to escape. Crazy really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gracie looking to control but Crazy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Crazy is in no mood to give up. Crazy is looking to get to half guard. Gracie working Crazy over with strikes here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gracie content just to control the position here. Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Crazy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie. Crazy prevents Gracie from taking his back. Crazy wants to control but Gracie is having none of it. Royler Crazy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie controlling from the full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Ronaldo Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
