The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joad swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Joad stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Joad sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stig Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters circle momentarily. Joad darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Johnson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Johnson tries to clinch but Joad moves out of range.

Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Joad steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Johnson is out on his feet! Joad sets himself and nearly takes Johnson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
