Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sigic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikael Ace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, James Sigic!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ace scores with a jab.
Sigic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ace wants to clinch.
Ace throws a head kick but Sigic moves out of range.
Ace tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Sigic looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sigic throws and elbow that misses. Ace uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sigic's guard. Nice move by Ace!

Sigic looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ace passes into side control.
Ace wants to stand but Sigic has his arm trapped.
Sigic regains half guard.
Sigic wants to get back to full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Ace postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sigic to stand up.
Sigic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ace as he jumps to the side.

Sigic throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ace because Sigic loaded up on that one.

Ace tries to buck Sigic off but he can't manage it.
Sigic lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
BOOM! Sigic connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ace takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Sigic goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ace turns into him and now he's in Sigic's guard.

Sigic is looking to sweep but instead, Ace has passed into half guard.

Sigic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ace.
Sigic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ace circles away quickly and effectively.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sigic is pushing down on Ace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ace is fighting to maintain full guard but Sigic has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ace has hold of Sigic's hands but Sigic slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ace tries to kick Sigic off but Sigic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Sigic thows a huge punch but Ace dodges it nicely.
Sigic is pressing down on Ace's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ace is holding on for now.

Sigic is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ace regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sigic.
Sigic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ace can't keep his opponent in guard - Sigic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Sigic tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ace knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sigic slips a nice elbow through Ace's hands, connecting with Ace's forehead.

Ace tries to stand but Sigic is controlling from the bottom.
James Sigic has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sigic looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ace is one step ahead there.
Sigic lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ace!

Sigic has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ace's face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sigic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

James Sigic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Ace is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sigic is controlling him well.

Sigic shoots in for a takedown but Ace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
