Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Macedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ralph Macedo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ralph Macedo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Johnson trying to control the position but Macedo is working away.
Macedo tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Johnson tries to pass to full mount but Macedo defends it.

Macedo working for a triangle but Johnson defends it easily.
Macedo has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Macedo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Johnson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Johnson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Johnson stands up and beckons Macedo to his feet.

Johnson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Macedo is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it.
Macedo is breathing heavily.

Macedo is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Johnson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Macedo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Macedo won't be happy with that.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Macedo has locked up a guillotine! Macedo's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Johnson is holding on here and Macedo must be using up a lot of energy. Johnson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Macedo gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
