PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Wrecking Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wrecking Ball has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carwin moves into range and clinches up with Wrecking Ball.
Carwin throws a knee to the head but misses.

Carwin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wrecking Ball tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Carwin counters by clinching up.
Wrecking Ball is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Carwin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Carwin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wrecking Ball pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carwin lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Reggie Wrecking Ball has been cut.
Carwin feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Wrecking Ball crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
