Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koff Fredholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koff Fredholm! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredholm throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Fredholm lands a with a good body shot. Fredholm fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Jones misses. Jones dodges the punch combination from Fredholm.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fredholm jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well. Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jones swinging wilding here.
Fredholm doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fredholm tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fredholm lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Kent Jones has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fredholm keeps the fight on the outside. Fredholm's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Fredholm duly obliges.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones closes the distance and pushes Fredholm back into the cage. Jones throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fredholms head. Fredholm looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The referee calls for Jones to work.
Fredholm tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage. Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fredholm pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fredholm connects with a crisp jab. A head kick misses from Jones. Fredholm misses with a combination
and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fredholm's guard. Fredholm is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fredholm uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jones is breathing heavily. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Fredholm. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fredholm, pushing him back against the cage. Fredholm tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage. Fredholm is trying to break free. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fredholm escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Fredholm circles away.
A head kick misses from Jones. Fredholm misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fredholm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fredholm throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it. Fredholm avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones shoots in but Fredholm avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones moves out of range as Fredholm throws a body kick.
Fredholm looks to land a body kick but Jones moved away. Jones slips a jab and a cross from Fredholm.
Jones has managed to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Fredholm gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage. Jones lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

and Jones counters with a flying knee. Nice. Fredholm throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A combination from Fredholm does no damage. Fredholm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fredholm pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.
Fredholm scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jones manages to mount him!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fredholm somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Koff Fredholm dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kent Jones's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kent Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fredholm lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jones tries to clinch but Fredholm moves out of range. Fredholm takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Fredholm which made him look bad. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fredholm throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Koff Fredholm seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fredholm throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fredholm throws a one two combo.

A left and a right from Fredholm both land. Nice combination. Koff Fredholm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fredholm tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jones manages to hold on to the position though. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fredholm knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fredholm bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A jab from Fredholm misses. Jones has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jones there as he acknowledges the shot. Jones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Koff Fredholm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kent Jones's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fredholm takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jones misses with a head kick.

Fredholm leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fredholm swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fredholm sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fredholm dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones misses with a combination

That's one minute gone in the round. Fredholm throws a lazy head kick and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Fredholm sneaks out the side door and pushes Jones away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Fredholm looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range. Jones throws a head kick but Fredholm moves out of range.

Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Fredholm sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Fredholm counters with a one-two to the body. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fighters circle momentarily. Fredholm darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to clinch. Fredholm avoids the head kick by Jones.

Fredholm throws a combination that misses and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Fredholm fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fredholm wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fredholm is proving hard to escape from. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Fredholm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fredholm gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fredholm. Fredholm throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Jones misses with a takedown and Fredholm counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kent Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koff Fredholm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fredholm misses with a double jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Kent Jones showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fredholm has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
