Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Dignam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walt Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walt Kowalski will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Dignam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walt Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dignam avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kowalski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kowalski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dignam throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kowalski escapes and throws Dignam's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kowalski tries for a kimura but Dignam is defending well. Dignam gets back to half guard. Dignam moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kowalski tries to free his leg and advance position but Dignam is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowalski missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kowalski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dignam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kowalski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dignam had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kowalski defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dignam keeping moving, preventing Kowalski from controlling successfully. Dignam has his foot on Kowalski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kowalski works his way back into a safe position though. Dignam looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kowalski advances to half guard. Dignam is defending against the submission attempts here by Kowalski.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kowalski seems to be looking for submissions.
Kowalski looks gassed! Kowalski is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dignam defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dignam makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dignam.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dignam is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kowalski defends well. Dignam working for a triangle but Kowalski defends it easily.
Dignam had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kowalski defends it easily. Dignam working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kowalski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kowalski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dignam keeping full guard, as Kowalski tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski drops back looking for a leg! Dignam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dignam manages to kick Kowalski off! Kowalski jumps back into Dignam's guard. Dignam is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dignam had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kowalski defends it easily. Dignam lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kowalski! Dignam looking to secure an arm triangle but Kowalski defends it well. Kowalski tries to improve his position but Dignam has taken his back! Dignam has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Kowalski tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Dignam pushes Kowalski away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
