Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nedelcu Alex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceyx The Kingfisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Kingfisher has chosen we are the champions as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nedelcu Alex! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ceyx The Kingfisher! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Kingfisher is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alex's half guard. The Kingfisher is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Alex pushes The Kingfisher off looking to stand but The Kingfisher dives back in and keeps control.
The Kingfisher controlling the pace. Alex tries to kick The Kingfisher off but The Kingfisher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The Kingfisher controlling the action here. I looks like The Kingfisher might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The Kingfisher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alex. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alex is trying to get back to full guard. Alex missing with punches from the bottom.
The Kingfisher is thwarting Alex's attempts to control the position. Alex is trying to stand up here but The Kingfisher is controlling him well. The Kingfisher not landing any meaningful shots this time. Alex wants to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The Kingfisher lands with a nice combination. Alex backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Nedelcu Alex has been cut. A punch combination from The Kingfisher misses. The Kingfisher gets a clinch. The Kingfisher is trying to break the clinch but Alex is controlling him. The Kingfisher pulls guard effortlessly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Kingfisher wants to sweep but no luck. Alex is looking to work some ground and pound but The Kingfisher has wrist control. The Kingfisher keeping moving, preventing Alex from controlling successfully. Alex stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Kingfisher swivels though and keeps the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if The Kingfisher can do anything to dispel that myth. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Kingfisher holds on and takes a little breather. The Kingfisher keeping moving, preventing Alex from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alex tries to free his leg and advance position but The Kingfisher is retaining full guard. The Kingfisher looks gassed! Alex gets to his feet - The Kingfisher follows without any prompting. Ceyx The Kingfisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Kingfisher wants to clinch up but Alex keeps it at a distance. The Kingfisher clinches. Alex tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. The Kingfisher smiles and moves away.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Alex fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The Kingfisher gets underhooks to prevent Alex's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nedelcu Alex. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Kingfisher lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Alex has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Kingfisher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alex is trying to keep The Kingfisher in close.
The Kingfisher postures up and lands a big shot to Alex's brow. The Kingfisher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The Kingfisher controlling from the top position. The Kingfisher postures up.
The Kingfisher is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ceyx The Kingfisher dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nedelcu Alex's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The Kingfisher has managed to clinch.
Alex keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Kingfisher's efforts to push away. Alex tries to score a body lock takedown but The Kingfisher shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The Kingfisher breaks the clinch.

Alex looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Kingfisher is fending him off so far but Alex persists. Nope, The Kingfisher circles away and we're back to standing. Alex throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Alex tries to move into range but The Kingfisher moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Alex shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nedelcu Alex. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Kingfisher dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The Kingfisher decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The Kingfisher lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The Kingfisher tries to pass the half guard into mount. Alex knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Kingfisher wants to stand up but Alex is controlling the position.
Still in half guard, The Kingfisher seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Alex trying to control from the bottom.
The Kingfisher looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The Kingfisher wants to take a breather but Alex is having none of it. The Kingfisher throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The Kingfisher content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Alex has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. The Kingfisher is working away from the top position though. Well, if The Kingfisher is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Kingfisher thows a huge punch but Alex dodges it nicely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Kingfisher swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alex fails with a takedown attempt. The Kingfisher lands a body shot.
A thudding body kick lands there by Alex!
The Kingfisher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alex sprawls well initially but The Kingfisher persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The Kingfisher controlling the action here. The Kingfisher tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alex pushes The Kingfisher off looking to stand but The Kingfisher dives back in and keeps control.
The Kingfisher prevents Alex from improving his position. The Kingfisher seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Alex is looking to improve his position.
The Kingfisher is thwarting Alex's attempts to control the position. The Kingfisher working over Alex with some ground and pound. Alex looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alex is fighting off a takedown attempt but The Kingfisher is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Alex to the mat. Alex regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hammerfist, elbow! yells The Kingfisher's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Alex is trying to keep The Kingfisher in close.
The Kingfisher lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Alex keeping moving, preventing The Kingfisher from controlling successfully. Alex not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The Kingfisher stops Alex from standing up. The Kingfisher showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alex is looking for a triangle but The Kingfisher pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Alex is trying to control the position but The Kingfisher postures up. The Kingfisher is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Alex looking for a sweep. Not yet Alex, not yet. The Kingfisher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The Kingfisher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Alex blocks a head kick by The Kingfisher.
The Kingfisher gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Alex has had enough of the clinch but The Kingfisher keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Kingfisher gets control of Alex's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Kingfisher will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The Kingfisher is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Alex is controlling him. Alex wants to control from the top but The Kingfisher keeps moving. The Kingfisher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The Kingfisher is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Kingfisher is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Alex wants to control from the top but The Kingfisher keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Kingfisher wants to stand but Alex is controlling the position. Alex thows a big elbow that misses. The Kingfisher wants to get back to his feet but Alex is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The Kingfisher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Alex is one step ahead there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The Kingfisher closes the distance and clinches.
And that's the end of the fight! Ceyx The Kingfisher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well The Kingfisher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
