Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shayne Foreman!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Foreman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Foreman is avoiding it.
Foreman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Foreman darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Foreman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Foreman is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks.
Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Foreman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Foreman moves into the clinch successfully.

Foreman has Jackson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Foreman pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jackson tumbling to the mat - Foreman dives into Jackson's guard.

Foreman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

I looks like Foreman might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Foreman controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foreman controls the pace.

Foreman with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Foreman wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Foreman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Foreman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.

Foreman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Foreman prevents Jackson from improving his position.

Jackson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Foreman has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Jackson can't escape the position.
Foreman wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely.
Jackson is looking to get to half guard.
Foreman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Foreman controlling the position easily from mount.
Jackson can't escape the position.
Foreman trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Foreman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Foreman wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely.

Foreman looking to secure an arm triangle but Jackson defends it well.
Jackson wants to control but Foreman is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Shayne Foreman will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jackson kicks Foreman off and gets back to his feet.
Foreman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Foreman closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Foreman pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bo Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shayne Foreman.

Shayne Foreman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Shayne Foreman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Foreman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
