Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahatma Gandhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trygve Graudheim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gandhi's entrance music is Hungry Like The Wolf. A fine choice. Graudheim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Lucky Bullets "Folsom Prison Blues" kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Trygve Graudheim enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mahatma Gandhi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trygve Graudheim! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gandhi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from Graudheim. Gandhi does a little dance to reset his feet. Graudheim has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gandhi finds it's way round the side to connect with Graudheim's head. Gandhi looks to land a combination but Graudheim avoids it well. Graudheim misses with a few strikes there.

Graudheim rushes Gandhi and presses him up against the cage. Gandhi tries to work over Graudheim's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Gandhi takes a shot to the head. Graudheim scores with a shoulder strike. Graudheim lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Graudheim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gandhi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Gandhi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gandhi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Graudheim. Gandhi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gandhi tries to work over Graudheim's front leg with a kick but Graudheim checks it. Gandhi tries to bum rush Graudheim with a series of wild strikes but Graudheim uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Graudheim decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Graudheim drops an elbow to the side of Gandhi's head.
It looks like Mahatma Gandhi has been cut. Graudheim thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Graudheim is trying to control. Gandhi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graudheim winds up and cracks Gandhi with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Graudheim throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Graudheim is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Graudheim trying to control the pace. Gandhi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Graudheim stalling away here and it's allowed Gandhi to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Graudheim working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gandhi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Graudheim scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gandhi has his foot on Graudheim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Graudheim works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gandhi is looking for a triangle but Graudheim pushes his legs off easily.
Gandhi has momentary wrist control but Graudheim slips an elbow through the middle. Gandhi keeping full guard, as Graudheim tries to pass. Graudheim trying to control the position from guard on top but Gandhi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gandhi looking for a sweep. Not yet Gandhi, not yet. Graudheim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gandhi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Graudheim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Graudheim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Graudheim lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Graudheim working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Graudheim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gandhi. Graudheim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Gandhi scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gandhi looks to land a combination but Graudheim avoids it well. Gandhi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graudheim throws a right and a left that both miss. Graudheim misses with a wild body shot. Gandhi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Graudheim. Gandhi throws a series of punches but Graudheim avoids them all with ease. Gandhi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Graudheim in his tracks. Gandhi misses with a head kick.
Graudheim stuns Gandhi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gandhi throws a one two combo.
Good exchange - Graudheim coming out on top. Gandhi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Graudheim circles away quickly and effectively. Graudheim waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gandhi. Graudheim swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gandhi. A punch combination from Gandhi misses. Graudheim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gandhi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gandhi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gandhi is breathing heavily. Gandhi looking for submissions off his back. Graudheim scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Graudheim scoring with strikes to the body and head. Graudheim seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gandhi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Graudheim scores with a couple of nice shots. Graudheim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gandhi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Graudheim. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Graudheim connects with a nice short shot to Gandhi's temple. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ground and pound from Graudheim. Ground and pound from Graudheim. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Trygve Graudheim will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mahatma Gandhi's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Graudheim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gandhi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gandhi misses with a takedown attempt - Graudheim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Graudheim lunges at Gandhi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gandhi's hand. Mahatma Gandhi is winning the standup battle so far. Gandhi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Graudheim. Graudheim looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Graudheim slips under a jab. Gandhi throws a nice looking combination but Graudheim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Graudheim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Mahatma Gandhi's cut is getting worse. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Graudheim throws out a powerful jab. Graudheim scores a takedown into full mount! Graudheim is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gandhi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gandhi shrugs it off. Graudheim lands with some strikes. BOOM! Graudheim connects with a massive shot to the dome!
