Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gracie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Gracie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gracie goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Gracie scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jones in his tracks.
Gracie lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Gracie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jimmy Jones has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Jones shoots in.
Gracie connects with a looping right hand.
Jones throws a combination that misses
and Gracie counters with a right hand to the body.
Jones looks gassed!
Gracie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
Gracie throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Jones stumbling backwards into the cage! Jones bounces back off the cage towards Gracie, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Gracie lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Gracie celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Max Gracie!
