Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Smithers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dracula Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dracula Hardy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Smithers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dracula Hardy! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy throws a body punch but Smithers moves out of range. Noah Smithers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hardy ducks under a wild hook from Smithers. Smithers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smithers throws a nice looking combination but Hardy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A punch combination from Smithers misses. Smithers checks a leg kick. Smithers misses with a few strikes there.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Smithers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Smithers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smithers being controlled here, momentarily. Hardy looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smithers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hardy scoring with punches to the head and body. Hardy looking to pass the guard. Hardy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hardy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hardy postures up in Smithers's guard and throws a big left but Smithers blocks it. Hardy is looking to work some ground and pound but Smithers has wrist control. Hardy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Let's hope that Hardy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Smithers has his feet on Hardy's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smithers loads up on a big right hand but Hardy slips the punch. Smithers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hardy to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hardy showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smithers keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully. Smithers wants to stand up but Hardy is controlling him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Smithers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hardy controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dracula Hardy dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Smithers misses the shot to the body. Hardy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smithers to the mat! Smithers manages to get full guard. Hardy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hardy passes Smithers's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hardy content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Despite being in the dominant position, Dracula Hardy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Smithers is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hardy asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hardy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smithers keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy cracks Smithers with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hardy decides to stand back up. Hardy steps back and let's Smithers get back to his feet. No joy there for Smithers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hardy avoids the body shot from Smithers.
Smithers looks to land a combination but Hardy avoids it well. Hardy shoots in and drives through. Smithers sprawls well. Hardy gets a takedown into half guard. Smithers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hardy on the ground. Hardy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Well, if Hardy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smithers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hardy trying to control from Smithers's half guard. Smithers has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Hardy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smithers's guard. Hardy with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hardy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dracula Hardy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hardy. This has been an exciting period of action! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Hardy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Smithers is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ground and pound from Hardy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Hardy throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Hardy tries to score with some ground and pound. Smithers controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Hardy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Smithers is not content to let Hardy control the position. Smithers is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hardy asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Smithers looks to throw the jab but Hardy is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smithers swinging wilding here.
Smithers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hardy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hardy is looking to take a break and control but Smithers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Noah Smithers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Smithers is looking to get back to his feet here but Hardy is keeping cool and he's managed to take Smithers's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Smithers's body.
Dracula Hardy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dracula Hardy. I've got Hardy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
