Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and NoSkills Man Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man Choi has chosen i wanna know what love is as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Fedor Emelianenko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fedor Emelianenko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, NoSkills Man Choi!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man Choi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Emelianenko swings for the body but Man Choi moves out of range.
Man Choi avoids the head kick by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko shoots in for a double leg but Man Choi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Man Choi has closed the distance and engaged Emelianenko in a clinch.
Emelianenko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Man Choi walks away with a smile on his face. Emelianenko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Emelianenko dives in and grabs Man Choi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man Choi pushes down on Emelianenko's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Emelianenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Emelianenko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Man Choi regains half guard, as Emelianenko was trying to land strikes.

Emelianenko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Man Choi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Emelianenko.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Emelianenko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Man Choi is working away from the top position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Emelianenko dives in and grabs Man Choi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man Choi pushes down on Emelianenko's head and hops out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Emelianenko throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Man Choi escapes and throws Emelianenko's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Man Choi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Emelianenko jumps guard but Man Choi stands there with Emelianenko around his waist. Emelianenko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Emelianenko tries to pull guard but Man Choi won't allow it.
Man Choi tries to land knees in the clinch but Emelianenko avoids the damage to the body.
Emelianenko tries to score a body lock takedown but Man Choi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emelianenko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Man Choi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Man Choi's back!

Emelianenko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Emelianenko seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Man Choi's chin but Man Choi turns very nicely into Emelianenko's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Man Choi.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Let's hope that Man Choi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Man Choi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
