Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus London (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aitch Bubbles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). London kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cochise, Audioslave. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
London finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
London tries to close the distance and clinch but Bubbles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bubbles misses the shot to the body.

London drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bubbles has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
London looking to sit in guard and control but Bubbles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

London looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bubbles puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
London is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

London drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bubbles manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now London has Bubbles in his guard.
London wants to sweep but no luck.

Bubbles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. London swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
London is adopting a defensive guard.
Bubbles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Marcus London seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bubbles throws a good cross that connects.
London lands a nice hook to Bubbles's body. Bubbles takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
London takes a body punch but keeps moving.

London throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bubbles was covering up waiting for the punch and London finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcus London will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

London shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Bubbles fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bubbles fakes high and swings low for a body shot but London manages to avoid it.

London looks to score with a jab to the body but Bubbles is just out of range.

London throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bubbles.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
London pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bubbles lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bubbles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bubbles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

London throws out a leg kick but Bubbles moves out of range and London only half commits.
Bubbles keeps the fight on the outside.
Bubbles lands an overhand right.
Bubbles slips under a jab.
Bubbles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horrible takedown by London or perhaps it was just good defense by Bubbles which made him look bad.
London misses with a kick to the body.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bubbles avoids the head kick by London.
Bubbles checks a low kick from London.
Bubbles swings for the body but London moves out of range.
Bubbles takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
London tries to clinch up but Bubbles circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Aitch Bubbles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

London throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bubbles's waist but Bubbles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing London off to one side.

London changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bubbles tries to avoid it but London manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bubbles to the ground. Bubbles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
London will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bubbles connects with a right hand. London shakes it off.
Bubbles looks to score with a jab to the body but London is just out of range.
An inside leg kick from London misses.
