Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Fists (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaylan Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heath has chosen Showdown - Black Eyed Peas as his entrance music. Kaylan Heath told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mr Fists!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaylan Heath!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fists misses with the combination.
Fists closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fists lands in his opponent's guard.
Fists working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Heath has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fists is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Heath.
Heath gets back to half guard.
Heath is looking to control Fists's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Heath avoid being mounted?

Fists wants to work for an arm triangle but Heath is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fists really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fists tries for a takedown but Heath sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fists dives in and grabs Heath's left leg, looking for a takedown. Heath pushes down on Fists's head and hops out.

Mr Fists seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Heath does no damage.
Fists gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Heath to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fists manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fists fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fists cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close second round but I would say that Mr Fists will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
