The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks throws a lazy right hand but Stuart sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Banks throws a right hand that Stuart ducks under and follows up with a left that Stuart also avoids with ease. Banks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stuart manages to avoid it. Stuart is looking to clinch but Banks is avoiding it.
Banks throws a hook to the side of Stuart's head but Stuart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stuart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Banks. That was a close round but I would say that Bonza Banks will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bonza Banks's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Banks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stuart is working to avoid the ground and pound but Banks connects with a decent elbow. Check out the look on Banks's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

He hasn't managed just yet though. Banks keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stuart actively working from the bottom here. Banks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
