Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Kelley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes to the cage accompanied by Big Punisher- Off Wit' His Head. Davis Kelley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Davis Kelley! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans fails with a takedown attempt. Kelley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Evans manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Evans pulls Kelley in close to his closed guard and prevents Kelley from doing any damage or advancing position. Evans manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kelley manages to get himself to full guard.
Evans won't allow Kelley to sweep him here. Kelley throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Evans might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kelley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kelley has his foot on Evans's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Evans works his way back into a safe position though. Evans is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kelley working a defensive guard here.
Kelley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Kelley is looking to stand up but Evans isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans passes easily into side control. Nice work. Evans wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kelley, who protects the arm well. Evans working the body and head with strikes. Evans working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Evans is breathing heavily. Kelley struggling a bit here. Kelley is looking for a sweep. Kelley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Evans off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelley cracks Evans with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Evans from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Kelley scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Evans is looking for a way out. Evans is trapped and Kelley is scoring with shots to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kelley lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Kelley working for the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kelley is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Evans is defending well though. Kelley let's go of the attempt for now. Kelley scores with strikes from the back.
Evans defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kelley's arms. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kelley has the hooks in. Evans is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Kelley gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Kelley looking to break Evans's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Evans remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kelley will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Kelley has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelley is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Evans knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Evans for a finish. Evans rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kelley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Evans has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are battling for position here. Evans manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kelley with a nice head shot there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kelley's corner. There ya go! There ya go! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Evans tries to land a sweep but no joy. Evans is working hard here to advance position. Evans trying to keep a closed guard but Kelley is proving a slippery customer.

Davis Kelley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kelley tries for a takedown but Evans circles away easily and Evans counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kelley's guard now. Evans works a leg free and moves into half guard. Evans is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Evans prevents Kelley from improving his position. Kelley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Evans seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kelley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kelley misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Kelley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Evans pulls his head out easily. Kelley is pressing down on Evans's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Evans wants to pass the guard but Kelley is keeping the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Evans avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kelley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Evans defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kelley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Evans makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kelley keeping full guard, as Evans tries to pass. Kelley wants to sweep but no luck. Evans thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kelley has his feet on Evans's thighs here. He's pushed Evans off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Evans screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
