The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klutie tries to score with a low kick but Santos moves his leg out of the way.
Santos shoots in for a takedown but Klutie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Santos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Klutie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Santos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Santos goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Klutie has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Santos but great work by Klutie.
Santos is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Klutie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Santos , who protects the arm well.

Santos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Klutie pulls his head out easily.

Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Santos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Klutie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Klutie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Klutie!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Klutie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Klutie tries to move to mount but Santos blocks the move with his legs.
Santos is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Klutie off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Santos is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Klutie knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Klutie for a finish.
Santos is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Klutie but Klutie pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Klutie throws a chopping leg kick but Santos manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Klutie throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Santos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Klutie was well out of range. Poor timing from Santos .

Santos lands a jab to Klutie's midsection.
Klutie is looking to clinch.

Klutie misses with a low kick.
Klutie finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Klutie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Santos feints and as Klutie raises his hands in defense, Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Klutie is trying to control the position but Santos postures up.
Santos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Klutie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Santos has Klutie in his guard.
Klutie lands a couple of elbows.

Santos is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Klutie frees his head nicely. Oh but Santos has switched to an armbar! Klutie is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
