The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex fails with a takedown attempt.
Kossu slaps away a takedown attempt from Rex, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rex shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kossu pinned against the cage. Kossu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Rex. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kossu scores with a kick to the body.
Rex shoots in for a takedown but Kossu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rex is breathing heavily.
Kossu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Kossu as Rex shoots in.
Kossu connects with a stiff jab that staggers Rex - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
